Oui! Oui! Oui!

Next week - in a mere ten days - the B. women are boarding a plane and heading to France. Paris, France. Shaken, not stirred.

We are as ready as we can get... we have:

• Four tickets - on Air India, of all things, but the priceline gods deemed it to be so. Decent flight times, so that we fly out in the evening and arrive late morning, with an afternoon return flight.


• An apartment in the 19th Arrondissement, up on the northeast side of the city but still within regular Metro operations. Near the Cite des Sciences, so we can go learn about Alzheimer and astrology en francais in our jet-lagged haze.


• Paris Passes, to get us into all sorts of museums and Metro stations.


• Ideas for yarn shopping.


• And plenty of other plans, large and small...

Rumor has it that the apartment we're renting, on top of having a private bath and kitchen, will have wireless Internet access included, so with a little luck we'll be able to post pictures and blurbs as they happen. You know how horrible it is to have a blurb and not capture it adequately in the moment... there's really nothing worse than a stale blurb.

If anyone out there in Internet-land has suggestions, comments, ideas, questions, whatever, please share them here... tell us what to see, what not to bother with, where to eat, where not to sleep, et cetera, et cetera...
